Modern tribology theory research and engineering practice show that some specialsurface can significantly enhance lubrication performance of the friction pair. In order toreduce friction and wear,researchers spend a great deal of energy to make the surfacemorphology and surface texture has become a hotspot in the field of tribology research.But due to the lack of necessary test instrument at present, there is no consistentconclusion on the action mechanism of surface texture. The Surface contact lubricatingoil film bearing capacity measurement system introduced in this paper can provide newtest means for the study of the surface texture theory, thus make it possible to betterstudy the effect of surface modification on the friction performance, which providereliable theoretical guidance to optimize the design of surface texture.First establish the physical model of contact hydrodynamic pressure lubricationproblem, theoretically analyze the contact of lubricating oil film bearing capacity andobtain the influencing factors of oil film bearing capacity.According to the measurementof surface contact lubricating oil film bearing capacity test modes and establishedcontact vice model of slider and glass plate, summarizes the oil film bearing capacitymeasurement system on the function requirement which make the basis of themeasurement system designed. Arrangements for the overall design of measurementsystem and respectively design mechanical noumenon and measurement and controldevice.Micron film thickness for the implementation of the technical problem, themachine body of the platen rotating mechanism, the micro-displacement mechanismand the locking mechanism to complete, and during use to ensure that the film thicknessconstant. Based virtual instrument design, modular programming method, usingthe LabVIEW graphical programming language software part of monitoring and controldevices. Also uses the VB language based on multi-beam interferometry film thicknesscalculation procedure can improve the calculation accuracy of the film thickness.The installation and debugging phase is divided into mechanical installation anddebugging of ontology and measurement device installation and debugging. Afterinstallation and debugging, the oil film bearing capacity test measurement systemavailability is measured by using measurement system under certain conditions. Therunning results of measurement system is analyzed and give the technical parameters ofmeasurement system.Test results show that the surface contact lubricating oil film bearing capacitysystem developed in this paper can satisfy experiment requirement and accuratelymeasure the oil film bearing capacity which achieve a good experimental result.
