Three-phase three-wire system is the most commonly used power supplysystem now, but it may introduce harmonic to electronic devices. Therefore, it isimportant to design filter to solve this issue. This paper will design active filter tosolve it. Its solution has great significance for energy utilization, the using of thepower electronic equipment and the green environment.Firstly, this paper describes the present research on harmonic and activepower filter. And then it proposes the research program on the basis of previousstudies. It is shunt active power filter. This article also studies the three-phasethree-wire system in detail.It has major impact on the harmonic suppression to detect harmonic currentwith real-time. Harmonic current detection method is based on instantaneousreactive power theory in this paper. Firstly, it studies and contrasts the threedetection methods based on this theory, and then chooses thei_p-i_qcurrentdetection method based on the theory of instantaneous reactive power theory, andimproves the low-pass filter link, using the sliding mean filter instead of theusual low-pass filter. The improved detection not only has better detection effecton real-time but also can detect the harmonic current better. Then, it comparescurrent control method, and selects the hysteresis of comparative method as thecurrent control method. It also designs on DC voltage control in detail. It gets thehysteresis system open-loop transfer functions by simplifying the current loopand the hysteresis loop with PI controller, respectively, it analyses the simulationon open-loop transfer function and closed-loop transfer function, and then it getsthe DC voltage controller parameter.This paper designs the APF compensation capacity of100KVA, calculatesthe main parameters of affecting the compensation system. It contains DC voltage, DC capacitor, AC side inductance. Finally, it builds the systemsimulation diagram by MATLAB/SIMULINK, and studies on the three-phasethree-wire system. Respectively, it studies simulation study on four differencesituations, which contains symmetrical grid and load, symmetrical grid andasymmetrical load, asymmetrical grid and symmetrical load, and asymmetricalgrid and load. The simulation result shows that the design can inhibit theharmonic well, and the design meets the requirement.
