VSC-HVDC due to its many advantages greatly expand the range of application of HVDC, has opened up vast areas of application for HVDC, and has been a highlight of transmission and distribution Held for the excellent characteristics itself. However, there are many application questions needing to be further studied for no practical VSC-HVDC project operating in our country at present. Moreover, Most studies are based on the three-level or two-level inverter of flexible DC transmission system, the research of VSC-HVDC based on the multi-level inverter HVDC flexible system is few. So, this article is based on the generator HVDC flexible multi-level inverter control systems study and simulation,discusses in detail how it works, control strategy and the design of control system, simulation and so on, the research results obtained by the following main points:First, the multi-level voltage source inverter topologies and modulation principle conducted in-depth research, analysis of the five-level voltage source inverter working principle, its control strategy were analyzed.Second, based on five-levels through flexible HVDC principle analysis, abc stationary dq rotating coordinate system and coordinates established based on five levels of flexible HVDC system mathematical model, in order to facilitate flexible HVDC Transmission System controller design. The analysis of flexible HVDC system control theory and control method chosen for this experiment platform control strategy and the use of Matlab/simulink simulation software to establish a network to the active power capacitors are flexible pressure-type five-level HVDC system simulation model.Third, in the Matlab/simulink simulation software, based on the simulation and development through the generator, the ultimate control algorithm is applied to a specific controller.In this thesis, the corresponding experimental research and development for new DC transmission, provides a simple and easy to implement a corresponding means, makes the theory corresponding to the software corresponding to the simulation to the last the oftware corresponding control algorithms to FPGA chipon reaching the corresponding perfect way of making the controller.
