Ground-source heat pump system is to use the soil as cold and heat source, and a new energy technology which According to the principle of heat pump to cooling and heating.The system has the characteristics of energy conservation and environmental protection when compared with the traditional air conditioning system. Now in China, there’re many types of buildings. When it comes to the library of university, considering the building characteristics in practical application, higher requirements of the design of ground-source heat pump system and actual operation are put forward.This paper provides the reference of design and economic operation modes of ground-source heat pump system for university library through the analysis of living examples. It may have a certain practical significance.This paper discusses the ground-source heat pump system of the library in Donghua university. The research methods include field investigation, experimental test, theoretical analysis and numerical simulation. First, load simulation and analysis of university library were done. After comparing different load simulation softwares and considering the specific features of university library, I selected DeST energy consumption simulation software to take the job of indoor load simulation of the library. Room functions and the use of time of the library were specific and detailed analyzed. Besides that, the factor that the university library has closed for winter and summer vacation, which is most different from other types of libraries, was also considered. Then each construction parameter the simulation software required was set specifically. The load characteristics of university library was summarized after analyzing the load that the software output.According to the load characteristics, how the soil temperature field affected the performance of buried pipe under different operating conditions was explored specifically. And then based on the results of load analysis and the scene of the engineering geological conditions, the ground-source heat pump system was designed. On this basis, according to the practical situation of the soil thermal physical property test results, analysis of simulation results and the load characteristics of university library, operating strategy of the system is determined. In order to ensure the cold or heat will not accumulate seriously under the soil, analysis of ground-source heat pump and cooling tower composite system was done. Finally the parallel complexed system was determined to adopt because of the advantage that it can improve system performance and increase soil recovery period.Based on the actual engineering design of Donghua university library, discussed the operation strategy and divided the blocks of buried pipe into several parts. Then grouping the buried pipes by load rate to make the system operate properly under different load rate, which can achieve the purpose of long term stability...
