The study puts crops straw in northern cold area as a fuel, providing heat is a master linewhich to use the smoldering technology for greenhouse heating,the Northern Alpine regionfree range poultry and livestock drinking water. Study on the northern cold area of crop strawsmoldering characteristics, the study can provide a more extensive basis for biomass strawsmoldering.The test uses the own design and development of the Biomass cathode fuel testingequipment and takes main crops(corn stalks, rice straw, crushed straw) in cold area in the Northas smoldering fuel, test results show that: the highest average temperature of corn straw in thesmoldering is784℃, the smoldering wave is a top-down in the smoldering, the change oftemperature increases gradually from top to bottom temperature, which belongs to the forwardsmoldering; the highest average temperature of rice straw in the smoldering is747.5℃, thesmoldering wave is not from top to down, which shows the overall smoldering; the smolderingtemperature of crushed stalks rice is below100℃; smoldering temperature of rice crushedstraw and sunflower seeds shell is the highest, the average maximum temperature is up to523.3℃.Using the method of single factor experiment,it researches and analyses the changes of airtemperature mezzanine smoldering in biomass smoldering device, analysis of results: when thecorn stalks and rice straw are smoldering,the highest temperature of furnace air mezzanine isthe middle thermocouple, the upper thermocouple is Secondly, the lower thermocouple is thelowest temperature, the highest temperature of air interlayer furnace cover is the middlethermocouple, followed by thermocouple near the chimney, the lowest is thermocouple near theoven; when4crushed straw are smoldering, the temperature changes of furnace air mezzanineare not the same.The paper transform biomass smoldering test equipment,bomass hot water generator isdeveloped, in order to study interior temperature field change rule of hot water generator, andusing FLUENT software simulate the temperature field, The simulation results show: Thelowest temperature appears in the bottom water generator, the temperature increases graduallywith each wall height increasing. The simulation results were verified by experiments, the conclusions of experiments and FLUENT simulation results is the same.
