The rapid development of economic construction, has led to the continuedimprovement of the industrial capacity, but also increase the possibility ofindustrial production equipment and process aspects of fire, thus increasingindustrial building fire risk. In recent years, resulting in property damage andhuman casualties remain high, the spread of fire between buildings often lead tofurther escalation of disasters. To solve this problem, the national standard “Codeof Desgin on Building Fire Protection and Prevention” interval of differentproduction types of industrial build ings made strict rules. However, due to theuncertainty of architectural diversity and fire, only the implementation of auniform standard for all industrial buildings in accordance with the productioncategory and refractory limit, make some of the problems encountered in theimplementation process. To this end an urgent need, we proceed from the point ofview of the performance-based fire using numerical simulation methods toexplore the factors of the law and the spread of fire between adjacent buildings. This article based on the above ideas try to carry out the following work:1. Application of numerical simulation methods, the establishment of anumerical model of the fire by the fire building fires spread to adjacent buildings.2. Build ing fire occurred external and adjacent to the flow field inside thebuilding is analyzed to obtain the temperature distribution of the fire spreading, visibility distribution and changes in the intensity of the thermal radiation.3. Based on the factors that affect the building fire spread, the opening rateof fire spacing, fire load are three factors that affect the analysis, comparativeanalysis of simulation results of each scene, and the impact of three factors onthe spread of fire development and adjacent buildingsfire hazard. In this paper, by using large-eddy simulation technology and application ofFDS industrial adjacent build ing fires spread and impact factors, the numerical simulation analys is, conclus ions can provide reference for fire safety design inaccordance with the actual situation of the buildings, and for projects provide thebasis of risk assessment.
