| The material technical data provided by the CES EduPack material databaseare used in this paper, the theory of Kansei engineering and design aesthetics arecombined, meanwhile the indicators of material aesthetic characteristics whichare the tactile properties, visual properties as well as auditory properties arecleared. Then the aesthetic characteristics of typical composites in product designare studied, at last the database of the typical composites facing to the design-oriented is established.The technical attribution of the typical composites of the glass fiberreinforced polymer and the carbon fiber reinforced polymer are analyzed in thispaper, the relative position is showed by the material tactile aesthetic attributedgraph and the audition aesthetic attributed graph, the aesthetic properties of thetypically composites are analysed horizontal. The feel temperature of the twotypical composites are modest and the hardness is closer to the steel are showedin the analysis results.The aesthetic characteristics analysis of typical composites in applicationare built. Combination the processing technology and decorative craft of thetypical composites, the beauty of color, the texture and luster of the typicalcomposites are analysed; According to the design aesthetics,20feeling wordswhich describe the aesthetic experienceare are selected to present the compositematerials and the typical aesthetic properties of the composites are analysedquantificationally; The aesthetic attribution quantitative data of carbon fibercomposites and glass fiber composites are given.One composites database is built in this paper whose core are the productdesign material aesthetic characteristics. The database structure and interface aredesigned, the instance are designed which is used to verify the the databasefeasibility of choosing matertials. The basis of the aesthetic performance to select materials and use materials is provided, a good foundation to the study of thecomposites aesthetic features is established. |
