Internal combustion engine crankshaft bearing system is the most critical part on the job of the internal combustion engine. The internal combustion engine crankshaft bearing system conduct as the power source of the whole system, its reliability and service life of the good or bad will directly affect the internal combustion engine life. And among them, the dynamic performance and lubricating performance plays a vital role. Scholars in the past, however, analyze the crankshaft bearing oil film lubrication usually regard bearing’s dynamic load as a fixed input, while in the analysis of dynamics of systems usually ignore the influence of oil film lubrication or replace with simple linear model. Results show that ignoring the oil film dynamic coupling to caculate parts design based on the maximum stress have too much safety margin, resulting in the simulation of the dynamic performance of error between the results and the actual situation.This article has done design and optimization of the SH476engine crankshaft bearing system, specifically made the following points studied:To study the performance of the internal combustion engine main bearing lubrication, firstly create a rigid body model of the internal combustion engine and simulate of each main bearing in case of the standard conditions to know that the standard conditions of each spindle withstand relatively high peak power.Secondly, on the basis of rigid body model, replace the rigid body by a database file method modal neutral file to establish an internal combustion engine rigid coupling model, simulate and analyze the internal combustion engine loading in the standard conditions of each main bearing to know that rigid couple in conditions of each main bearing force trends broadly consistent, rigid coupling model will be subjected to repeated load peaks,however,difference between the largest and the minimum be smaller than the rigid body model.Meanwhile, in order to study on the performance of the internal combustion engine main bearing lubrication, using ADAMS engine module comes with a hydraulic bearing module to establish a rigid coupling Hydrodynamic lubrication model, simulate and analyze the internal combustion engine loading in the standard conditions and minimum film thickness circumstances, knowing that the fourth main bearing oil film thickness is relatively low, relatively more prone to damage.Finally, from the radial clearance, the width of the main bearings, crankshaft speed to silulate and caculate the fourth main bearing minimum film thickness,the main bearing loading in different conditions,fully consider all the factors affecting the performance of the main bearing lubrication.
