The ATS system is a subsystem of the automatic train control system, which can scheduling and locate the train, The ATS system has played an important role to improving the efficiency of the train. The states of all signal equipment are the basic element to realize the function of the ATS. However, in the developing process of a ATS system, it is difficult to find an actual train environment. And in order to train the people, we need a simulation environment. So it is important to develop the platform of the ATS simulation environment.In this paper, according to the point of the system design and the way of the OOP programming, we have designed and realized the platform of the ATS simulation environment. This paper mainly completed the following work:1. According to the point of the system design, we have designed the interface of the platform and analyzed the function of it.2.We have finished the modeling of the signal equipment, including the signal, the turnout, the track and the station. We have designed two kinds of train and the way of locating the train.3.We have analyzed the principle of the MA calculation, and then designed the process of the MA calculation in this paper, and also we designed the interface which can connect the ATS system and the IBC system.4. We have designed the running sense of the train line, the ATS simulation environment is discrete system, it is made of different event, we have listed all kinds if events of the signal equipment.5.We have finished this platform by using the programming way, we use the Microsoft Visual C++6.0to develop the platform of the ATS simulation environment.Relying on the ATS system and the IBC system, platform of the ATS simulation environment can simulate the basic signal equipments and the moving train. The interface can visually show the train lines. Of course, this platform can provide a testing environment for the ATS system and the IBC system.Of course, due to the limitation of knowledge level, in this paper, there are many shortcomings which need to be perfected in the later study.
