The Rapid Development of Urban Rail Transit makes the research fever on the protection of train’s security, improving transport capacity and reducing operation energy and other issues in the field of Rail Transit. Automatic Train Control system is the key equipment of Urban Rail Transit which can protect the train’s security and improve transport capacity. Automatic train operation system realizes the automatic adjustment of speed and fixed-point parking in the station during the operation.The train traction calculation is the theoretical basis of Automatic Train Protection and Automatic train operation core algorithm in Automatic Train Control system. This thesis is based on the train traction calculation and existing research results, analyzing the dynamic process of train movement, building multi-particle train model and designing complete simulation system with traction calculation mode to complete the train operation simulation.Currently, applied control algorithm of automatic train operation system mostly is PID Control or Adaptive Control. These algorithms are based on the concrete model of train operation control system. The control algorithm of Automatic Train Operation system can achieve parameter tuning and automatic operation through the model of train operation control. This thesis will use the least squares method to analyze data of simulation system and build the transfer function model which matches the characteristics of electric multiple unit. The transfer function model of train operation system established in this thesis can accurately reflect the characteristics of the train. This model can optimize the vehicle design and the lines selection in the planning and designing period of rail lines, help to realize energy saving index and punctuality in the period of operation and provide a reference model of train operation control for the application of Automatic train operation system in the Urban Rail Transit. This thesis has realized the design of the train operation simulation system, established the transfer function model of train and verified the effectiveness of the model.
