The paper had two major purposes, one for putting forward the geological generalized model based on the analysis of characteristics of karst and the collapse mechanism in study area. The other for putting forward some management engineering measures aimed at the karst in study area based on the deformation analysis of the soil hole under dynamic load. For reaching the purposes, the work related in the study was mainly divided into two parts, one for analyzing the karst collapse mechanism and the other for putting forward the treatment engineering measures aimed at the karst in study area.In order to analyzing the mechanism of karst collapse, the characteristics of the karst collapse, collapse strength, influence factors and so on were analyzed base on the research of geological conditions and development conditions of karst. It concluded that the mechanism for collapse in study area was the surface water, the potential of atmospheric precipitation on soil erosion and other dynamic load factors produced by human. Based on the analysis, it proposed a geology generalized model and the collapse mechanism of karst collapse in the study area. There are three types of subsidence model in the study area,"powder clay+limestone", powder clay+gravelly soil+limestone","thin layer+karst hall". The collapse mechanism included the underground erosion mechanism, the gravity effect mechanism and the effect of dynamic load. What’s more, it also analyzed and discussed the different buried depth of deformation of the soil hole under train dynamic load characteristics by the method of numerical simulation.At the end of the paper, form the specific situation of the study area, Aim at the different types of karst disease, it provided several solutions for problems occurring at different parts of the sub-grade engineering. These solutions included excavation backfill, pressure grouting and structure across, which can provide recommended practice for karst designing and construction.
