Pile foundation engineering construction is one type of hidden construction work. In the construction process, as a result of making process and uncertainty, the construction is much more difficult, which may easily result in the construction quality problems. Further rmore, the quality of pile foundations is directly related to the security of the whole construction, so the detection of the piles dose make sense. Nowadays there are a large number of methods of detecting the piles. Among them, the low stain reflected wave method is outstanding, as a no damage test technology. It is widespread adopted due to its advantages like simple and quick operation, not influenced by depth and pile diameter, high sensitivity, fixed location and low cost. Low stain reflected wave method receives signal through the sensor signals on the top of the pile, collects the particle vibration from the inside concrete and the transformation of the time domain and amplitude-frequency of the reflected wave. It is a superior method of detecting the pile body completeness. The article introduces the method to receive the reflected wave in the pile. Briefly introduce some basic principle of the method firstly, and bring in other test methods in the following. Then combine with specific practice data, conduct detail analysis of the mechanical parameters, such as particle vibration. According to the specification of the content, find out the methods to solve the problem. This article determines the quality testing by curve graphics. There is a testing case in the city of Xi’an of SHAANXI province. The case detects the pile foundations of high-rise buildings. Based on the undetected the defects of concrete, the integrity defects and its locations of piles are anlysised by the method. Then find out the reasons through the as-built records. Finally come to a conclusion by comparing the two methods.
