Double wishbone independent suspension with wishbone through to adjust thelength of the wheel tread and wheel alignment angle size, in order to strengthen thestability of the advantages of driving a car. In addition, the double wishboneindependent suspension height is low, easy styling of the car. Therefore, this suspensionis often used in the limousine. But its shortcomings are obvious: double wishboneindependent suspension parts and more complex structure, high cost, large footprint,cost is also high. So, on the cross-arm independent suspension fatigue life reliabilityanalysis has very important significance.In this paper, double wishbone suspension for the study, combined with3Dmodeling software, finite element software, dynamics simulation software doublewishbone suspension fatigue life analysis.First, the rigid coupling theory applied paper gives a brief introduction.Secondly, the application of finite element analysis software ANSYS upper andlower wishbone suspension bushings were contacted and stress analysis, calculation ofcontact stress between the upper and lower wishbone and bush caused due to theinterference fit. On the upper and lower wishbone suspension modal analysis carriedout to calculate the upper and lower arm of the natural frequencies and modes.Then, using MSC.Software software series MSC.Patran, MSC.Nastran andMSC.Adams suspension system for rigid-flexible coupling simulation. MSC.Patranfinite element analysis software for the upper and lower wishbone set parameters suchas material properties, combined with MSC.Nastran generated. MNF files, applicationsgenerate VB Class B, D grade, F-and H-class road spectrum file, MSC.Adams themodel on the front and rear suspension add the correct constraints, calculate the stiffness of the spring, set the body center of gravity and driving equation. Establish tiremodel and road model, the front and rear suspension make the rigid pavement fourdifferent coupling simulation output curves and stress concentration stress nodeposition, the final output files that load history.
