In recent years, the rapid growth of mini-car sales period has ended in China, whichmakes more competitive in the market. Power performance and fuel economy ofmini-car is not only paid more attention to, but also ride comfort. According to study,longitudinal impact vibration of mini-car is very serious. It is necessary to study andimprove longitudinal impact vibration of mini-car.The main contents are as follows:(1) The key technologies of analysis and improvement for longitudinal impactvibration of mini-carBasic evaluation indexes of the impact vibration were analyzed. And then theevaluation indexes of longitudinal impact vibration of mini-car were subsequentlyrepresented under start condition and shift condition. The dynamic model of amini-car was established with CarSim, and simulation contrast was made to validatethe rationality of the model with Adams. The core contents of Taguchi Method weresummarized from the viewpoint of application, the formula and work steps weregiven to form a general process. An automated processing module for TaguchiMethod was developed with Matlab.(2) Analysis and improvement for longitudinal impact vibration of mini-car under startconditionBased on the key technologies of analysis and improvement for longitudinal impactvibration of mini-car, the corresponding dealing of the mini-car longitudinal impactvibration was made under start condition. Slow start, normal start and quick startwere simulated with CarSim. With the simulation results, the biggest influence startform was found and the evaluation indexes of mini-car were adjusted under start condition. Under the biggest influence start condition, the influences of mini-carparameters, driving system parameters and control parameters were analyzed usingsingle factor analysis method. Taguchi Method was used to improve the longitudinalimpact vibration of mini-car under start condition to get robustness design.(3) Analysis and improvement for longitudinal impact vibration of mini-car under shiftconditionSimilar to the process mentioned above, the analysis and improvement forlongitudinal impact vibration of mini-car were made under shift condition. The shiftconditions such as Up-shift, down-shift, down-shift then acceleration, leapfrogdown-shift were analyzed and simulated with CarSim. According to the simulationresults, the biggest influence shift form was found. Under the biggest influence shiftcondition, the influences of mini-car parameters, driving system parameters andcontrol parameters were analyzed using single factor analysis method. TaguchiMethod was used to improve the longitudinal impact vibration of mini-car under shiftcondition to get robustness design.In the paper, the key technologies and application for longitudinal impact vibration ofmini-car were studied. Evaluation indexes of the longitudinal impact vibration ofmini-car were confirmed and Taguchi Method was summarized, which would providea reference for others to study. The longitudinal impact vibration of mini-car could beimproved at the design stage.
