Cam-linkage reducer is a new-type gearing equipment. CL is the abbreviation for“cam-linkage”. It shall be widely popularized because of its excellent characters that CLreducer has high efficiency, greater transmission ratio and bearing capacity. Its dynamicperformances are lesser researched in the bypast years. This paper mainly research on thetheoretic and experimental mode of CL’s case on the base of understanding the workingprinciple and structure characters. This research is developed from some nether aspects.Firstly, the working principle and the structure are analyzed; the three-dimensionalmodel of the CL150model machine’s case is established by PROE;Secondly, the theoretical mode of CL150reducer’s case is analyzed by the CAEsoftware ANSYS, then the ten inherent frequencies and its corresponding modal patterns areobtained;Thirdly, an experimental modal analysis on the CL150reducer’s case is carried out bythe hammering method, then, the frequency-response function and the correspondinginherent frequency are obtained by the hardware such as data-collector, hammer,accelerometer and the software of LabVIEW;Finally, the conclusion that experimental results and the theoretical results are in accordis drawn.To sum up, the conclusion drawn from these researches provides the foundation tooptimizing the structure of the CL150reducer’s case and to studying the dynamicperformances.
