Abstract/Summary:
A new type of composite film counter electrode on the flexible ITO/PET substrate, composed of PEDOT:PSS doping dimethyl sulfoxide(DMSO) and carbon materials likecarbon blacks、graphite、active carbon、and carbon ink has been prepared by roller printingon the flexible ITO/PET substrate, and use it to instead of Pt counter electrode.CuI powderswere prepared with CuSO4·5H2O and KI by microemulsion method. The PEDOT:PSS-CuIcomposite electrolyte and pure CuI solid state electrolyte were prepared with CuI powders、PEDOT:PSS and acetonitrile. The dye-sensitized solar cell(DSSC) was assembled withPEDOT:PSS-C counter electrode,PEDOT:PSS-CuI electrolyte, pure CuI solid stateelectrolyte, and TiO2photoelectrode.Sheet resistance, surface morphology and voltage-current characteristic of thePEDOT:PSS–C counter flexible electrode were investigated by four point resistivity probe,SEM and UVSP respectively. Crystal structure of CuI powder and resistance rate ofelectrolyte film were investigated by the X-ray diffraction analysis (XRD) and four probesresistance rate instrument. The performance of DSSC was measured by UVSP respectively. The stability were compared between PEDOT:PSS-CuI composite electrolyte and pure CuIsolid state electrolyte. The results indicate that when the content of active carbon is5%,composite film counterelectrodes have preferable photoelectric properties. Carry out high performancePEDOT:PSS-C counter electrode on the flexible ITO/PET substrate. The best performance ofthe PEDOT:PSS-CuI composite electrolyte was obtained when the optimal addition of CuI is20%and the stability of this solid state DSSC is better. Under an illumination of100mW/cm2, the Jsc, Voc, FF, η of solid DSSC are1.72mA/cm2,0.77V,0.50,1.41%respectively.
