In recent years, with the rapid development of the high-rise buildings, in order to meet the requirements of architectural function, there are many buildings whoes lower public parts are the large flexible space, while the axis of the upper need small Bay. In order to fill this requirement,we have to consider the transformation layer. Box type transformation layer,which is capable through a whole layer with higher stiffness and bearing capacity of a kind of transformation form structure.In fact, Box type transformation layer is actually change from beam transformation layer structure. In recent years, the application of complex high-rise building structure with the box type transformation layer is in a proportion of rise. Relative to the beam transformation layer structure, the in-plane stiffness is big,and it solves the problem of the short column in the common beam transformation, strengthen the integrity of structures. But at home and abroad,the box type transformation layer design theory is not mature, and the beam type transformation layer and box type transformation components of mechanical properties and characteristics of the integral space research areWe explain the general theory for elastic dynamic analysis method of transformation layer structure in this thesis. With two models (there are only differences in the transformation layer), on the basis of the model using the finite element software SAP2000, the analysis models are established. By modal analysis,decomposition response spectrum and elastic time history analysis, studying the box type transformation layer structure and the beam transformation layer structure dynamic characteristics, the lateral deformation and total shear structure under seismic action under multi-case earthquake.Pushover analysis is a static method analysis, revealing to us how the structure is to produce plastic hinge in the earthquake, as well as how the development of plastic hinges. Furthermore, by showing us the structures under earthquake action real yield mechanism,it will help us more accurately the structural design safer. In this article we use SAP2000for a box type transformation layer structure,with converted pushover analysis to explore the structure of the plastic failure mechanism under earthquake.
