Steel-Concrete hybrid girder continuous rigid frame bridge is a new kind of beam bridge, It is a continuous rigid frame bridge,which change a period of middle span concrete box girder as steel box girder, steel box girder and concrete girder connected to the hierarchy together to form the main beam of continuous rigid frame bridge. After this change, not only thanks to the small weight and large across capacity of steel box girder, but also due to changes in methods of construction, the moments distribution of structure is more rational, which makes continuous rigid frame bridge’s span capacity greatly increased. But the study of such structures’s optimized arrangement was very scarce, Meanwhile no relevant studies on the Ultimate span of such bridge have been reported.Therefore, research in these areas is very important.(1) By contrast and summarize of the literature,this article describes the current research and the optimization research methods of hybrid rigid frame girder bridge, provides theory guidance for this study(2) Based on the finite element theory, the whole bridge midas/Civil model of Ou Jiang bridge is developed and the analyze of internal forces under dead load and live load is done.(3) Build the mechanical model of hybrid girder continuous rigid frame bridge, the internal force and deformation of the key position has been derivation by force method.by changing its design parameters, the relationship between the internal forces and displacements of key section and the bridge-span,the length of steel box grider,the beam height has been derived, provide reference for the mixed continuous rigid frame bridge’s side span-main span ratio, the reasonable value of steel box girder length and beam highet(4) According to the analytical solutions of the bridge structure,make the Mid-span deflection and the main beam stress as the objective function of optimization, obtained the technical ultimate girder span.
