The earthquake occurs frequently in our country, lots of lives and wealth about the people are lost because of several earthquake in the past. The bridge piers as the main lateral force resisting elements of bridge structures, piers are easily destroyed in the earthquake. There are many bridges that based on the old standard no meet the new standard, so the old bridge seismic reinforcement becomes necessary means. In recent years, fiber reinforced polymer that has lightweight, high strength, corrosion resistance, easy construction are widely used in the Civil Engineering. At present, the domestic research much in the field of CFRP constraint concrete, but also in perfect stage, theoretical research is not enough to comply the increasing engineering application, so this paper based on the current study of home and abroad, the main contents as follows;1. Used the octahedral strength criteria to regression analysis the peak stress of CFRP concrete, get the more clearly physical meaning of analysis model of the CFRP confined concrete cylinders. Also research CFRP confined concrete peak strain and lateral restraint intensity. Obtain the peak strain calculation model of CFRP confined concrete cylinders. Then analyze the whole process of the CFRP confined concrete and compared with experimental results based on the model. The anastomosis of the model presented in this paper and experimental is very well.2. Based on the obtained CFRP confined concrete of the relationship of the constitutive model, using the OpenSees calculation calculates the whole process of nonlinear reinforced concrete column under monotonic horizontal load in the literature, comparison with experimental results, consistent with the experimental results compared good. On this basis, further research based calculation program OpenSees axial compression ratio, concrete strength, longitudinal reinforcement ratio and other factors confined reinforced concrete column under monotonic loading horizontal loads-the relationship between the degree of influence of interference.3. Introduce the basic principles and process of analysis of Pushover method, Using Pushover to analysis a pier based on OpenSees, Assessment the pier based on the result of Pushover analysis. The pier can not meet the new standard. Using the CFRP cloth to seismic reinforcement, assessment the pier after seismic to prove the feasibility of CFRP cloth is well in the earthquake.
