Buckling restrained brace is a good energy dissipation component to resist lateral force, and is a kind of good transformation for ordinary support. It owns the advantages of simple process, convenient installation, and small influence on the structure of space compared to the conventional seismic strengthening methods of setting up the shear wall. So, it is widely applied to practical engineering. Especially Buckling restrained brace to overcome the ordinary support the disadvantages of easy premature buckling failure, can make whole cross section yield component without buckling under repeated earthquake load, the full use of steel hysteretic performance, shows a good shock absorption performance of energy consumption.Now, the population is becoming more and more and the available per capita area is becoming less and less, in the earth. Especially in China, the per capita area is in shorter supply. High-rise building can save land. Making full use of space is becoming the modern construction development direction. So, energy damping research of the high-rise building with Buckling restrained brace will be of great significance.At present, countries with anti flexure supporting structure is comparatively deep research. But, high-rise steel structure of high intensity zone is relatively less in China. But, Buckling restrained braces application in high-rise steel structure of high intensity zone are gave full play to the damping effect, and to study the effect of energy dissipation is not enough. So, this article researches and analyses the effect of Buckling restrained brace to the seismic response of local narrowing high--rise steel frame of the related engineering through the ANSYS finite Element software.First of all, according to a large number of experimental analysis and research results at home and abroad, the principle of energy dissipation of energy damping structure simple, to prevent. The article simply Introduces the principle of energy dissipation of energy damping structure, research status for Buckling restrained brace at home and abroad and the working principle and application of prevent buckling support simple introduction.Second, the article studies some mechanical properties of Buckling restrained brace and impact buckling support component of energy dissipation capacity of parameters. the article also studies Buckling restrained brace structure system and understands the three kinds of commonly used energy dissipation damping structure aseismatic calculation method, analysis of factors influencing the prevent buckling support structure system of energy consumption. To meet and more under the action of the rarely met earthquake aseismic calculation method is introduced.Finally, this article researches and analyses the effect of Buckling restrained brace to the seismic response of local narrowing high--rise steel frame of the related engineering through the ANSYS finite Element software.Using El-Centro wave, Taft wave, Tianjin wave three kinds of seismic waves when different cross section of the buckling analysis contrast support and original structure in many different seismic response under earthquake and the rarely met earthquake. Through the contrast of seismic response analysis, can prevent buckling support local in form to strengthen the position of the weak layer, weakened due to structural stiffness mutation and the adverse influence on the structure. Results also showed that the flexure supporting structure in support has remained under severe earthquake in the Elastic stage, did not have the effect of energy dissipation, is only provided for the whole structure resistance to lateral stiffness; Under severe earthquake, supporting headed into plastic stage, energy consumption was also begin to enter the main structure Elastic-plastic stage, the two Shared energy shock absorption effect, prevent buckling support consumes most of the seismic energy, of the small earthquake and the main structure to absorb energy, thus effectively protect the main structure, to avoid the risk of the main structure severely damaged or collapsed.
