Micro-grid is attracted more and more attention by people as its environmental protection, high efficiency, agility, and less investment etc. The power supply of the combination of Micro-grid and grid is considered the main culture of the electric power industry in the21st century. The distributed generation which is micro generation of the micro-grid can play an important role in reducing environmental pollution, saving investment, improving power supply quality, offering the reliability of power supply etc. However, the connection of the micro-grid and the distribution of the micro generation may bring some negative effects. Therefore, this dissertation does the research on the economic operation optimization of the micro-grid and the optimal distribution of the micro generation in the distribution network.For the problem of the economic operation of micro-grid and the optimization of the distributed generation, this dissertation first introduces Cauchy distribution to Shuffled Frog Leaping Algorithm (SFLA) and calibrates the fitness function of the SFLA which can approves the weakness of instability of the search spaces and slow convergence rate of the algorithm. By the way of optimizing the minimum of the five test function, the results show that the modified SFLA can avoid local minimum and make the algorithm with better convergence speed.Secondly, the dissertation optimizes the economic operation of the micro-grid. The micro-grid in this dissertation includes Gas turbine, wind power, photovoltaic power generation, fuel cell and battery energy storage device. The dissertation does a detailed analysis on the characteristics of the each distributed generation in the micro-grid. Then establishes the minimum cost objective function and optimizes the function with the modified SFLA in order to have the optimal strategy of the purchasing and selling electricity on a typical day in different season.The dissertation finally analyzes the influence of the distribution of the micro generation for the distribution network. The objective function is active power loss and static voltage stability index, utilizes the advantages which can deal with different dimensions and conflicting multi-objective optimal problem of the Fuzzy method to convert the objective functions mentioned above into individual objective function and optimizes it. In the dissertation, applies the modified SFLA to the IEEE33node distribution network and has a simulation analysis of the distribution of micro generation. To measure the overall performance with the satisfaction, the result shows that multi-objective optimization has a better overall satisfaction.
