With the improvement of our economic strength and people’s living standards continue to improve, the number of cars is increasing, the demand of traffic greatly increased, traffic congestion and pollution of the environment problem becomes more serious, which caused great concern to the people. Research and apply the theory of traffic flow model to solve the traffic (?)blems have become extremely important, and cellular automata model has been widely applied in the research of traffic flow theory because of its various advantages.This thesis expands by focusing on the study of two lane main road on-ramp system from the driver behavior point of view. Discusses the changes of traffic flow in ramp system considering driver behavior, affection of random factors on the system, and analyzes the traffic safety in the system. The key points are as follows:(1) It simulated the running situation of open boundary conditions in the model of STCA vehicle.By changing the randomization probability, the maximum vehicle speed parameters, it got different entrance probability flow value, the influence of maximum speed of the vehicle to vehicle flow,the relationship between the average vehicle speed of all sections and the entrance probability, and simulated the vehicle trajectory by space-time diagram, verify the symmetry of two road vehicle operation in STCA model.(2) Based on two main road on-ramp in the lane system model, considering driver behavior, combined with the actual operation of vehicles, vehicle and novehicle are discussed on the ramp.By changing the randomization probability, and the maximum vehicle speed to get the fundamental diagram of traffic flow in different entrance probability,the influence of maximum speed of the vehicle to vehicle flow,the relation diagram between the average velocity and the probability of the vehicle entrance.The results show that, the vehicle flow is basically the same with traffic on the main road and not considering driver behavior when there is not car on the ramp.The vehicle flow on the ramp is greatly improved after consider the behavior of driver when there is car on the ramp.(3) It simulated the operation status of main vehicle considering driver behavior through the space-time diagram, analyzed and discussed the traffic safety of ramp at the interface. Results show that, after considering driver behavior, it further improves the safety of road, and run more smoothly, effectively reduce the congestion, obviously improve road running efficiency.
