Highway as the lifeblood of the national economy, plays an important role in modern transport.With the development of social economy, the number of the traffic tools has grown obviously, especially the number of private cars. In this phenomenon, our country not only need to build new road speed up, but also put enormous pressure on existing roads and reduce the period of repair and refurbishment. Synchronous chip seal layer technology as a new way for paving technology, its development has been more and more popular than before. The technology has changed the method that asphalt and gravel separate cloth in the past, it make asphalt and gravel separate cloth at the same time. In this methods not only can save the work time, but also can improve the quality of road. The major tool of synchronous chip seal layer technology is synchronous chip sealer, thus how to improve the efficiency of synchronous chip sealer is the subject of the paper.Synchronous chip sealer is a system which combines with the technologies of machine, electronic and hydraumatic. This paper which cognize the components of the synchronous chip sealer and the functions of whole system. The paper start with the working process of synchronous chip sealer, understand the models’compositions of the whole system and analysis the working principle of these modules. The system chose STM32as the main control chip that can design the control system of synchronous chip sealer. The whole system is divided into several parts, just like main controller part, input part, output part and user interaction part. To ensure the design proposal of hardware base on the design of whole system, select hardware for each modules, draw the hardware schematic diagram. At the part of software, transfer real-time operating system μC/OS-Ⅱ by the construction of whole software, each function parts can be written in the construction of μC/OS-Ⅱ, To design reasonable control algorithm for each parts. It can make synchronous chip sealer operation faster, more efficient and more convenient.After designing of whole control system will debug the system, the debugging is divided into laboratory debugging and industrial field debugging. In the laboratory, the major mission is completing the debugging of major control circuit board, through the online debugging function of the development tools, find loopholes of hardware and software, modify these short points in time. In the industrial field, measurement data of each parts of system, the system obtain relevant experimental data and it gain relevant operation parameters through sorting out experimental data. Using these parameters on real operation of synchronous chip sealer, the system work stabilized, the effect of operation suited with target, completed the design goal of the whole system.
