With rigid pile composite foundation have characteristic which can control settlement well in soft soil foundation and through the poor soil easily, it plays a good effect on carrying capacity and settlement after construction of composite foundation. As lots of rigid pile composite foundation applied engineering, interrelated engineering data of rigid pile foundation can be measured and collected in constructing or after being used. These data and experience instruct design of rigid pile foundation. The theory and technical of rigid pile composite foundation become more and more mature. At the same time, many new alien shaped piles are created which X-section concrete pile has a new patented technology with independent intellectual property rights by Hohai university. This paper gets the skin friction of pile ratio m between the convex and concave arc by considering the soil arching of concave arc, and discusses impact on the ratio m with different soil parameters. Establish the skin friction calculated method of X-section pile by referencing the skin friction calculated method of circle pile. Contrast the differences and similarities of single pile composite foundation between X-section and circle pile in different situations by using the large-scale finite element analysis software ABAQUS.In this paper, the main work includes such follow aspects:1、Reading reference papers about the circle pile composite foundation so as to get regular pattern. Combining the soil arching of concave arc of X-section pile, the skin friction distribution regular pattern around pile in the same depth can be gained. Discussing different friction angle of around pile soil, establishment skin friction distribution curve equation around pile in the same depth.2、Combined the existing load transfer method and distribution curve equation, solving skin friction distribution along the X-section pile in a homogeneous soil by energy balance equation.3、Using the same calculated method and getting skin friction distribution along the X-section pile in multi-layer soil. The results compare with the engineering measure data.4、Contrast the axial force, skin friction and settlement of single pile composite foundation between X-section and circle pile in different situations such as cushion, modulus of elasticity of pile, compression modulus of soil at the bottom of pile by using the large-scale finite element analysis software ABAQUS.5、Discussing the parameters of Cam-Clay constitutive model change how to effect the calculated results of X-section pile composite foundation by finite element software. It can reference the similarity analysis models which use the Cam-Clay constitutive model.
