The BOG labyrinth sealing reciprocating compressor operates at low suction anddischarges temperature and at high pressure, cylinder and piston body are suffered fromlarger temperature load and mechanical load. This paper researches a model of abyrinthseal reciprocating compressor of Shenyang Yuan Da Compressor Co., Ltd. The structure ofthis model compressor cylinder system is so complicated that uneven distribution ofthermal stress and mechanical stress that act on the cylinder and piston body, it also isprone to damage them. So the analysis of its temperature load and mechanical strength ofthe cylinder system is very important to improve the efficiency, durability, reliability andeconomy of the reciprocating compressor. So is the analysis of the thermo-mechanicalcoupling problem.This paper describes CAE technology-related applications in the field of compressors,and Thermo-mechanical coupling technology and CFD technology of the compressoranalysis in the field of compressors. The basic theory, equation and Finite ElementAnalysis method for solving the heat transfer and thermal stress in the compressor cylinderand piston are discussed.In the second part of this article, Using the finite element analysis method analysis thetemperature field, stress field and thermo-mechanical coupling that cylinder and piston ofthe compressor. In the finite element analysis process, According to information athree-dimensional model of the cylinder and the piston body are established by readingrelated information of the compressor. The model of the cylinder and the piston body areimported to ANSYS Software to mesh. As the Boundary conditions are determined by therelevant empirical formulas and parameters with specific conditions, the finite elementanalysis can be performed.At last, the simulation calculation of the change of temperature field, stress field thatduring the course of compressing gas has been compliment by using CFD software FLUENT in this paper. In the simulation process, discusses the numerical simulationanalysis process of the flow field, the relevant equations of fluid flow are discussed. Byusing the dynamic mesh technology, the comprehensive process that the change oftemperature and gas pressure inside the cylinder with the rotation of the crank angle issolved.
