Wind power as the representative of the new energy of the volatility and intermittentare severely affect the quality of grid power and reliability of the system. Withdevelopment of the economic and capacity is growing, the impact on the quality of thepower also increasing. Using energy storage device to stabilize fluctuations in wind poweris an effective method, based on the certain limitations for traditional single energystorage element. Hybrid energy storage system composed by supercapacitors and batterieswith its characteristics composition and functional complementary, and the studies forapplications in the wind power system and the micro-grid system, the aspects of maincontents as following:First, the article describes the the recent research for the technology of wind powerenergy storage supercapacitors and hybrid energy storage system. the basic structure andworking principle based supercapacitor-battery hybrid energy storage system anddouble-fed wind turbines is analyzed, and establish mathematical model for hybrid energystorage system and double-fed wind turbine.Secondly, in the MATLAB platform, building simulation model for wind powersystem wity hybrid energy storage system. reasonable allocation compensation power forhybrid energy storage system with fuzzy control method, according to the hybrid energystorage device state of charge and the charge-discharge power, verify that the hybridenergy storage system is not only able to achieve stabilize fluctuations in wind power, butalso can improve device life of hybrid energy storage. Hybrid energy storage system basedcompensation charge state power and its fluctuation range, as well as wind powerfluctuations in the degree of smoothing, obtained using fuzzy control method than theconventional control method has good control effect.Finally, in the MATLAB platform, building micro-grid simulation model with hybridenergy storage system. using fuzzy sliding mode control method for DC/AC inverter ofhybrid energy storage device, through simulation that hybrid energy storage system is able to compensate active power fluctuations for micro-grid. According to active powerfluctuations smoothing effect of micro-grid, show that using fuzzy sliding mode controlmethod has better stabilize grid power fluctuations of the micro-grid than the conventionalcontrol method. according to the simulation to obtain compensation power, micro-gridsystem bus voltage, and frequency for hybrid energy storage device, indicating that thehybrid energy storage device can not only stabilize the fluctuations power when switchingload in off-grid, and the system can be smooth switching between off-grid to grid. Therebyimproving the stability of the system, further verify the superiority of the control policy...
