| With the rapid development of today’s society, prestressed steel structures as animportant form of building structures are suitable for most projects. Compared withconventional steel structures, the introduction of prestress can greatly save steel usage,improve structural capacity and reduce the deformation of the structure. Comparedwith other structures, prestressed steel structures have many advantages. But steelstructures have poor fire resistance and properties of the steel will vary greatly in hightemperature condition. Therefore, the study of fire resistance of prestressed steelstructures has a very important meaning and value.The method of fire resistant design of steel structure mainly contains two kinds,one is based on the test of fire resistance design method, because of the components ofthe load distribution and end restraint condition is not the same, this method is hardlyto simulate the real situation. And another is based on the calculation of the fireresistance design, this article is using this method to study mechanics characteristics ofprestressed steel column in high temperature condition.The article is about the coupled thermo-mechanical analysis of prestressed steelcolumn which is based on this study at the perspective of an individual component,through theoretical analysis and numerical calculation, combined with the heat transfertheory, using the finite element analysis software--“ANSYSâ€, and may providereference values for the fire resistance design of prestressed steel structures. Throughthe theoretical analysis of the conditions of bearing capacity and deformation ofprestressed steel columns in high temperature condition, the effects of hightemperature on bearing capacity and deformation of prestressed steel columns can bedescribed, the changes of bearing capacity and deformation of prestressed steelcolumns on different conditions can be compared, the effects of prestressed loss onbearing capacity and deformation of prestressed steel columns can be obtained.Similarly the effects of high temperature on mechanics characteristics can be describedby the analysis of the temperature field and thermal effect of prestressed steel columns.Finally, comparing the theoretical calculated results with the results form the finiteelement analysis software, and could provide reference values for the fire resistancestudy of prestressed steel columns.Through this paper on study of mechanics characteristics of prestressed steelcolumn in high temperature (fire) condition, hoping to provide reference for fire resistant design of steel structure in the future. |
