With the construction of the smart grid worldwide, people have higher requirementfor the intelligent distribution network and automation. The microcomputer relayprotection devices as the main equipment of distribution network monitoring andprotection, it will directly affect the distribution network automation level of intelligentlevel. The paper bases on online setting method, design a suitable for microcomputerprotection device of the distribution network, the main research content includes thefollowing several parts:In order to improve the automation level of distribution network, the paper designs aset values of the online calculation mode of feeder protection. On the one hand, to solvethe problem of the large amount of transmission data which in online setting calculationprocess of the centralized control center, with the method of the interference field, setoffline interference domain databases, distribution network topology is given thecorresponding to different interference field, when the power distribution networktopology changes, only the constant value in the domain protection are modified; On theother hand, to resolve a three-stage protection in protection device, the set values systemequivalent impedance is obtained by using the fault component method, through theanalysis of the positive sequence, negative sequence current component to determine thefault type, and then realize the three sections of the online calculation of current protectionsetting value.To build feeder protection device of hardware platform, the paper adopts double CPUstructure, to improve anti-interference ability of the circuit, give up the traditional opticalcoupling isolation circuit, and choose MC33291to drive the circuit design, In softwareaspect, in order to meet the requirement of the feeder automation, design online settingcalculation procedure in centralized control center and the protection subroutine.The various performance of feeder protection device were tested, the result shows thatthe operating reliability of protection device satisfies the requirement of national standard.Protection measurement signal satisfies the standard range of plus or minus0.5%accuracy;In addition, by the single power supply electric circuit protection experiment, thetraditional protection and three sections of the electric current protection function of adaptive protection were compared, the results show that the change of the working statusof adaptive protection on the part of the point of failure is faster; And according to therequirement of the industry standard in our country, the electromagnetic compatibility testhas been carried on, The results show that under the4level voltage of electric surgedisturbance, level4interference of quick transient variable pulse and level3electrostaticinterference the device can normally work.
