With the development of modern industry, the increasing of the nonlinear loads in the power system, the influence of harmonic becomes more and more serious, the harm the power system and various power equipment safety operation level. Study and control the harmonic has important value of theory and application.Firstly, this paper analyses the harm of harmonic, harmonic measurement theory research status and the harmonic of power network and equipment. According to the national standards of harmonics, harmonic limit value definition and algorithm, harmonic current on the oil field grid limit calculated.Shengli oil field power system as the enterprise network, has its own characteristics development. The motor load higher proportion, is one of the main harmonic sources in oilfield power grid. In this paper, the electric power network in Shengli oil field survey and main harmonic sources are discussed in this paper, the harmonic condition investigation of Shengli Oilfield grid, each voltage grade line, analysis of the main harmonic source type of harmonic detection, the typical load. Based on the statistical data of harmonic measurement, analysis the harmonic characteristics of typical harmonic sources, determine the distribution of harmonic in power system, an overall evaluation of the level of power system harmonics.Finally, the paper presents the basic principle and the classification of the active power filter, harmonic caused by high voltage distribution room for wattless compensation device of frequent damage of this situation, the harmonic control scheme, the introduction of active power filter, through testing and analysis, verify the governance effect.
