In our heating system, central heating system is used widely, but the central heating system has acertain complexity and exists some drawbacks. Central heating system is a dynamic system, how toimprove the operating efficiency of the system, reduce energy consumption, reduce emissions, improvenetwork security and reliability, reduce hydraulic imbalance occurs, is an urgent and long-term problemthat heating industry must be facing.Firstly, this article through basic investigation of HongTa, YingFeng and YangErYu Communitieswhich are located in FangShan area in Beijing, accessing to raw data. Through data analysis and on-sitetesting, we found these Communities’ heating system have many problems, such as pipe hydraulicimbalance, low pump operating efficiency and low boiler operating efficiency etc. To solve these problems,we proposed heating system energy-saving measures from heat exchange station, thermal entrance andusers these three angles. Then, we analysis and forecast the energy-saving potential of this reformedheating system. From three angles which are the entire system,users’different adjustment mode and pumpfrequency operation, we quantitatively analysis and forecast the energy-saving potential after heat meteringreformation. In the ideal case, the community system will achieve18percent energy saving; the savingpotential of different adjustment mode by users can up to13.02percent; after the pump frequencytechnology, the theoretical energy saving rate is biggest, the three Communities pump power consumptioncan reduce33percent. Finally, applying IOT technology in central heating system, combined with theactual project, we learned the huge advantage on operation-control of IOT technology in central heatingsystem, and pointed that in heating industry, application of IOT will make operation of heating system morerational and energy-efficient. Indoor section can save energy by10%to15%, heat exchange station cansave15%to20%of energy, secondary pipe network can save energy by15%to20%.
