Research On Building Ancient Architecture Information Model Based On Point Cloud

Reverse reconstruction is a part of importance in the protection of ancient architecture.Because of high efficiency, high precision, strong performance in details,3D laser scanning isthe first choice in ancient architecture measurement. Using BIM technology in the treatmentof ancient building point cloud, buliding ancient architecture conponent familyμ model forreverse reconstruction and building ancient architecture BIM3D model for direcion is notonly satisfied with ancient architecture reverse reconstruction model building, but also canrecord and manage the building information of the ancient architecture conponent. What ismore, it can provide data for ancient architecture rebuilding, pseudo-classic architecturebuilding and so on in the future.The model built by BIM is rich in building informatiom, but BIM is focus on managingsingle building, and not good at solving managing spatial information for big range. GIS isbetter at managing spatial information than BIM, but the model used by GIS is in pursuit ofaccurate size and virtual reality. GIS can t manage the build conponent and the informationinside of the build. It is the information islandμ of GIS. So the integration of BIM and GIS isa inevitable trend.Focusing on the advantages and disadvantages of BIM and GIS, under the target ofSmarter Citiesμ and digital globeμ, based on the integration of BIM and GIS, using pointcloud, this paper researched the following three points:1. Using point cloud for base data, researching how to use BIM in ancient architecturereverse model reconstruction and building information management.2. Using typology of architecture and architectural component classification,researchingto build the familyμof ancient wood structure architecture conponent. Build the ancientarchitecture BIM model in the final.3. Research the file strcuture and model description rules of IFC. Extracting of internalBIM model entity of space partition and attribute information of the building, transformate theBIM model to the CityGML model which is descripted by the Geography Markup Language.Finally realize to share the BIM model in GIS environment.
