As a brand of new power transfer system, Inductively coupled Power Transfer (ICPT) can be used to improve the security, dependability and flexibility of the power system, expand application of the electric energy transmission technology, be suitable for some special fields, it has already been received the great concern of foreign academia and international engineering technological circle. In recent years, many successes have been achieved. On the base of lots of experiments and simulations,we give a detailed analysis of each part in the ICPT system,and realize an experimental power supply platform.Firstly,the concept of the ICPT and its characteristic are introduced. Because the ICPT system is different from the switching power supply,so a suitable model needed to be founded. we found the Mutual inductance model and then give a detailed discussion on the loosely coupled transformer.Secondly we ues the resonant technique to realize the most power transmission and the topology of ICPT and the types of compensation circuit are summarized and investigated. Because of lot of variables,and they contact with each other,a detailed analysis about the stability is also be given.Thirdly we bring forward an idea which ues the half-bridge TOP to realize the ICPT system,and prove its feasibility.The experimental results for 10mm transformer air gap are given.The research makes some basic work to the ICPT system,it offers the good structure frame and deep theoretical foundation for the further investigation .
