Pararcyptera microptera meridionalis (Ikonnikov) is a important agriculture injurious insect in North China. It distribution in heilongjiang, Inner Mongolia, Liaoning and so on, out of China it will be found in Mongolia. It vast majority food is Gramineae, Cyperaceae, Leguminous Cruciferae. The crops suffer severe is wheat, barley, millet. The experiment is based on P.m.meridionalis record the sing of the P.m.meridionalis and record the size of the body then do the Darkening experiment to find the relation of the size of the body. The main results present as follows:1. The sound characteristic of P.m.meridionalis. We research the sing of the P.m.meridionalis. use the software of cool edit2000research the Calling sound, Rival sound and Courtship sound. We use the MATLAB7.0to make the time-domain plot and frequency spectrogram. Calling sound main peak frequency is8443.5±140Hz frequency range2-20KHz, chirping time is about0.33±0.05s; Rival sound main peak frequency is7355.6±125.8Hz frequency range2-20KHz, chirping time is about0.66±0.04s; Courtship sound main peak frequency is5986.3±92.98Hz frequency range2-20KHz, chirping time is about1.22±0.16s.2. The relation of the size of P.m.meridionalis body and the courtship sound. We found the relation between Chest back width and amplitude F(1,18)=14.678, P=0.001, P<0.05and diversity was significantly. The relation between meropodium length and amplitude F(1,18)=14.678, P=0.001, P<0.05diversity was significantly. So it prove chest back width and meropodium can influence the amplitude of courtship sound.3. We research the relation between the immunity of P.m.meridionalis and courtship sound. We use the immunization black experiment to research immunity of P.m.meridionalis, we found that the relation between immunity and the most pulses in courtship F(1,18)=6.260, P=0.022, P<0.05and diversity was significantly; average number of pulse F(1,18)=4.456, P=0.049, P<0.05and diversity was significantly; amplitude F(2,17)=4.098, P=0.034, P<0.05and diversity was significantly. So the immunity direct relation some characterise of courtship, we can estimate the state of health from the courtship.
