With the development of economy, high-quality requirements for fruits and the increase of labor costs, the simplified management of fruit trees and the improvement of fruit quality have become the direction of cultivating fruit trees.Brachytic dwarf originated in northern China as a kind of potted ornamental varieties-the longevity peach which has the shortened section and a small amount of growth; its tree height, crown diameter and stem diameter are significantly less than normal type. The fruit trees Dwarf close planting is easy to manage, makes fruits fructify early with high quality and greatly reduces the labor cost. This kind of peach is well received by consumers for its sweetness and juicy quality, thus the proportion of this kind of peach trees is increasing in peach production nowadays. In order to meet the production and market demand, peach breeding in recent years becomes an important target. So cultivating dwarf peach trees is able to meet the requirements of people on fruit quality and at the meantime to reduce labor cost.110individual plants developed from cross genotypes of DwdwSs and Dwdwss were used to screen molecular markers linked to the fruit flat gene and dwarf gene by SSR markers and Genetic mapping. The results showed that peach dwarf and fruit flat is located in the same linkage group.SSR marker MA014a and the peach fruit flat characteristic(S/s) were determined on one linkage group, their linkage distance was8.41cM; SSR marker MA014a and dwarf characteristic(DW/dw) were determined on the same linkage group, their linkage distance was26.15cM. the distance of the peach fruit flat and dwarf characteristic was27.47cM. |
