Maize sheath blight is a worldwide disease caused by soil inhabitants such as Rhizoctoniasolani and seriously impact the yield and quality of maize. For the past few years, manysuccessful examples showed that some anti-apoptotic genes from animals, insects andbaculovirus were transferred into plants can show the function of antiapoptosis and enhancedisease resistance of plants. In this research, firstly we cloned the coding region sequences of p35,iap, β-1,3-glucanase and chitinase by PCR, and these ORFs were inserted into the site with thepromoter in the upstream and terminator in the downstream in the pCAMBIA3301vector. Theplant expression vectors (p3301-p35, p3301-iap, p3301-β-1,3-glucanase and p3301-chitinase)were confirmed by PCR, restrictive enzyme digestion and sequencing. The results showed thatp35, β-1,3-glucanase and chitinase had no mutation and the iap gene had one base replacementwithout changing the amino acid...
