Stand growth model is an indirect estimation method, according to the investigation of different tree species grown under different growth conditions, treatment with certain mathematical methods, in the form of graphs, charts or formulas to estimate the growth of the stand. Most of the traditional methods of multi-factor curve model often focus only on the surface relations of variables and other factors, so prone to factors " Mutual forecast ", model "cycle estimates "and other issues, the precision is not very high. Diameter at breast height and tree height growth model, for example, which application of the method of cluster analysis.In the process of building a growth model, the classification of the sample is very important, because each piece forest branch contains many species, if the study of a single tree method, not only the operation workload will be great, and many data errors will also vary increased. Many species are classified as several categories for each type of unified study, with a certain similarity of the same species fitting a model, so not only reduces the trouble of a large number of tree species for individual study.This article choices the main tree species of Liangshui Nature Reserve:Betula platyphylla Suk, Picea koraiensis Nakai, Betula ermanii, Manchurian walnut, spruce, Maple Leaf, Pinus sylvestris, poplar, maple flower-kai, water elm Sorbus, Syringa reticulata Hong, Qing Kai-maple26different samples were taken of the100samples, Cluster analysis method to study the problem of stand growth, the specific stand tree height curves, for example, to do a more in-depth study, and finally a modelto describe the same type of tree species under different growth environment tree height growth curve.
