The porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome (PRRS) is an important infectious dis-ease in swine industry. PRRS has many clinical manifestations which are severe reproductive failure in sows and gilts characterized by late-term abortions, an increased number of stillborns, mummified and weak-born pigs, and respiratory problems in pigs of all ages associated with a non-specific lymphomononuclear interstitial pneumonitis. Because of lacking of efficient medicine to cure PRRS completely, it is important to prevent PRRS by vaccine. The research focus on the regularity of the antibody levels, which comes from boars, sows and piglets immunized weak potent vaccine PRRSV, PRRSV inactivated vaccine. The experiment consists of3parts.In the first part15selected boars which has been immunized before the experiment are inoculated weak potent vaccine PRRSV, PRRSV inactivated vaccine. Then we analyze the data that is recorded about the boars’response to the vaccines for the purpose of the comparison of weak potent vaccine PRRSV,PRRSV inactivated vaccine. In the second part20sows selected by having similar age and weight, which are divided into4groups, are inoculated weak potent vaccine PRRSV,PRRSV inactivated vaccine. After inoculation of vaccines20sows are aimed to have artificial insemination where the semen came from the boar of group A5.Record the sows’response to the vaccines, timely collect the blood of sows to measure levels of immune antibody. In the third part20piglets selected by similar weight are planned to divide into4groups which are grouped according to maternal sows from B group. After immunization of weak potent vaccine PRRSV, PRRSV inactivated vaccine, timely collecting the blood of piglets to test levels of immune antibody, finally we analyze the effects of vaccines on piglets. With the results of the experiment, we learn the immune effect of weak potent vaccine PRRSV is better than the effect of PRRSV inactivated vaccine. The peak level of immune antibody of weak potent vaccine PRRSV appears sooner than that of PRRSV inactivated vaccine, but less lasting immune time. PRRSV inactivated vaccine is suggested using to prevent the PRRSV of common piggery. And weak potent vaccine PRRSV is more efficient to prevent the acutely PRRSV.
