Sclerotinia sclerotiorum is an important plant pathogenic fungus with wide distribution. This pathogen can infect many crops and cause huge loss since it is difficult to obtain effective management.. Coniothyrium minitans, the parasitic fungus of S. sclerotiorum, can effectively reduce the formation and germination of sclerotia of S.sclerotiorum. Many evidences supported that C. minitanshas a great potential on biological control of diseases caused by S.sclerotiorum. Study on interaction between C.minitans and S.sclerotiorum would help us to understand the mechanism of parasite and improve bio-controle fficiency of C.minitans.The secreted proteins of C. minitans may play important roles at the stage of parasite to S. sclerotiroum..1045proteins with signal peptide protein were predicted from10920protein swith SignalP software.74proteins have rich in amino acid cysteine which can effectively prevent the secreted protein digestion by ubiquitin system. During the early stage interaction between C. minitans and S. sclerotiorum31of predicted secreted-proteins showe expression on early interaction of C. minitansand S. sclerotiorum. The function domains of31proteins were further analysized with Blastp.5proteins with the domain of membrane formation implied that membrane function plays significant roles during touching;4proteins have polysaccharide combined domain which may have CWDEs (cell wall digest enzymes) activity.4proteins have homology to anti-fungal proteins and pathogenesis-related proteins. So an overexpression vector pC11172OE of CMA04837was constructed and transferred into C. minitans strain ZS-1using Agrobacterium tumefaciens-mediated transformation (ATMT) techniques. Overexpression transformants showed melanin reduction, dense mycelial growth, aerial hyphae increase, sporulation decline. Those results revealed thatgene CMA04837of C. minitans playsbiological roles in growth and development process.
