Rice,one of the three most important food crops in the world, and a quarter of the world’s total grain production capacity, has a huge value for grain supply. Rice blast,one of the main diseases, which would damage the safety of rice production, and it distributes in different rice-growing regions of the world. Production practice proved that taking full advantage of gene resources, synchronization improving rice resistance to rice blast, selecting and using the resistance cultivars are the most economical and effective measures for the assurance of rice safety production.In this study, the maintainer line BoIII B is used as recurrent parent, which shows perfect agronomic traits and has susceptible gene Pi-ta; the rice variety Tetep with resistance gene Pik-h and Pi-ta as donor parents. The target genes Pik-h and Pi-ta were tested by combining conventional breeding and marker-assisted selection breeding methods. After collecting the rice spike with magnaporthe mrisea, their strains were isolated.The main results are as follows:1、The markers RM224. YL155/YL87and YL183/YL87showed well polymorphism in parents, F1and backcross descendant, and they were analyzed by genetic polymorphism. The gene could be accurately detected by these markers as the same as the donor paren from each segregating generation,which showed that using these markers to select Pik-h, Pi-ta and Pi-ta gene was accurate and effective.2、Pyramiding the resistance gene Pik-h and Pi-ta into BoⅢB by using conventional breeding and marker-assisted selection breeding methods in combination,33materials which have the gene Pik-h, Pi-ta and pi-ta were obtained. The materials enriched germplasm resource of rice blast resistant.3、A total of53isolates of magnaporthe mrisea were selected from fields of planting materials, and the resistance of materials was identified. It was foundation to resistance breeding of Pik-h and Pi-ta gene in the future.
