Dam system construction is an effective engineering measures of soil and waterconservation in Loess Plateau,it play an important role in prevent water loss and soilerosion,and can form rich farmland,make full use of water and soil resources,reducesoil and water loss.The study depend on Chenggou Dam System Watershed in the5thtypical watershed with loess hilly-gully region as the research object,Using "3S"technology,mathematical statistics method,the fractal theory, supported on sensingtechnology and dynamic monitoring of soil and water conservation technology.Analysis flood and sediment of sediment deposition and the control area with singledam,Study of dam system watershed on sediment deposition process by rainfallerosion and soil erosion under different land utilization way,analysis the patterns onoptimal deployment of water and sediment resources in Chenggou Dam SystemWatershed.The main conclusions are in the following.(1)Chenggou Dam System Watershed have74check dams,the quantityproportion for the Backbone,medium and small dam are1:1.1:1.6, On average0.46persquare kilometers have dams. Dams control area reach to8842.78hm~2, Accountingfor54.80%of the total area of the basin, The actual block sand for total amount are448900m3.(2) For check dam drainage before dispatch, Emptying through flood season,Ensure the safety of flood control. Before Rainy season for drainage, water storagevolume is decreasing. By the end of2011, Water storage quantity was reduced from324300m3to17200m3since the end of2007,10monitoring key check dam only2have a small amount of water;About Water,2007implementation of check dam waterstorage irrigation, total water and the water consumption rate are bigger accordingly;check dam have small storage capacity from2008to2011, water storage is mainlyused for people and livestock, four years a total of143900m3of water, Accountingfor19.98%of the total water demand, Water consumption rate is also lesser; Allcheck dams and water buildings in good condition, operating normally,there is nodanger and destroy dams.(3) Analysis of the underlying surface change research in Chenggou DamSystem Watershed, soil erosion modulus from5600t/km~2fell to47.59t/km~2bygovernance, soil erosion modulus reduce5552.41t/km~2.(4) Through the analysis of the dynamic monitoring of soil and waterconservation, research the underlying surface change with soil and water conservation.include engineering measures, the degree of soil and water conservation managementchange,et al, Get the basin for nearly5years management area of soil and waterconservation measures increased133.04hm~2; the soil conservation benefit are:Terraces72.45t/hm~2, afforestation72.45t/hm~2, grass planting46.5t/hm~2.
