The study of genetic relationship and the analysis of diversity among germplasm groups, are an important content of maize breeding research.SSR molecular marker is the mostcommonly used effective molecular marker now.The genetic diversity of126maize inbred lineswere assessed by SSR markers, clarify its genetic relationship and classify the germplasm grouppreliminary. The main results are as following:1. Using70pairs of SSR primers which were distributed evenly on the10chromosome ofmaize to126inbred lines for genetic diversity analysis. Seventy loci identified278polymorphicamplified fragments. The alleles per locus ranged from2to7with an average of4.The values ofPIC for each SSR locus varied from0.444to0.835with an average of0.682.The genetic similar-ities of SSR marker pattern among the126maize inbred lines ranged from0.576to0.978withan average of0.669.2. Using cluster analysis and principal coordinate analysis by UPGMA method which basedon genetic similarity coefficient matrix.126experimental materials were classified into group SSand group NSS. Group SS contained subgroup Lü da Red Cob(LRC)、PA and BSSS, GroupNSS contained subgroup Si Ping Tou(SPT)、Lancaster(Lan) and PB.
