Sclerotinia species is a kind parasitic ascomycetes in oil crops and cruciferaecrops, which has wide host range, seriously affect the production of food andvegetables in China. For a long time, a lot of research about prevention and control ofSclerotinia were made at home and abroad, including agricultural control andchemical control, but the effect was not satisfied and soil pollution was caused in acertain extent.In recent years, the effect of plant diseases control by antagonisticmicroorganisms were significant.Taking Sclerotinia sclerotiorum, Setosphaeria turcica, Rhizoctonia solani,Cercospora zeaemaydis, Fusarium oxysporum, Pyriculara oryzae, Cylindrocarpondestructans and Colletotrichum gloeosporioides as experimental material,373strainswere isolated and purified from the soil sample which collected from Changbaimountain nature reserve in Jilin province.76actinomycetes strains had antagonismeffect. One actinomycetes strains was obtained by secondary screening76actinomycetes strains with oxford cup method and plate growth rate method hadantagonism effect on Sclerotinia species,named cz288. cultural characteristics,morphological characteristics,physiological and biochemical characteristics,molecular characteristics were carried out to identify cz288.The main results showedthat:(1)The aerial hypha are gray and have branches and a little break,substrate myceliumare yellow and have branches.At the same time cz288can not produce solublefigment.(2)Strains cz288had ability of geletin liquefaction, surach hydrolysis, nitratereduction and milk solidification, except milk peptonization. It aslo could producelipase and melanin, can not produce cellulase and H2S. cz288could utilize10kinds of carbbon souce,including glucose,sucrose,maltose,fructose,xylose,mannitol,arabinose,rhamnose,raffinose and inositol.(3) cz288is highly identical to many Streptomyces spectabilis and sequence similarcoefficient were100%.
