The forestry ecological civilization construction is a basis pillar industry and social work in the currentsocial-economic sustainable development. Dehua shuikou town as the sustainable development of ecologicalcivilization town, the present situation and development trend of forest resources was studied and the directimpact factors and indirect impact factors related to stand volume was revealed in order to promote forestrysustainable development strategic research of Shuikou town and achieve the conservation and utilization andsustainable operation of the forestry.The research about the subplot area and stand volume of the forest resources from2007to2011inShuikou town showed that there are differences between the levels of forest resources in differentadministrative areas. In the areas of subplot, Kunban village,Jiuzhu village, Huban village were in the top threeand ChengZe village,Tingkeng village and Likeng village were in the low three. In the maximum standvolume,there have Kunbang village, Jiuzhu village,Bangshang village in it.In the minimum stand volume,there have Likeng village, Bacheng village, Tingkeng village in it. For different forest species, the subplot areaand stand volume of the special forest and timber forest account for the vast proportion. while the standvolume of unit subplot area, protective forest is largest,followed by the special forest and timber forest, bothsizable. About Stand age, the mature forest occupy an absolutely dominant position, followed by near-matureforest and middle-aged forest, and over mature forest and young forest showed the smallest stand volume andsubplot areas. From large to small of the stand volume of the unit subplot area is in order, over mature forest,mature forest, near mature forest, middle-aged forest, and young forest. Both the area and accumulation ofnatural forest has a high level in Shuikou town, and unit volume of natural forest is larger than plantations, butthe subplot area of natural forest is decreasing year by year; Resources of plantation is far less than the naturalforest, but it increased year by year. In Shuikou town, Pinus massoniana and hard-wood tree are superiorforest and hold overwhelming superiority in the subplot area and volume, tea bushes and soft broad-leavedforest occupies the smallest area and volume. In Shuikou town, the area of land differs in different site grade, itranked as the following order: the strongest, the strong, the general, the poor. The largest area of subplot is thewater conservation forest, and the small area of subplot is the natural protective estates. The maximum standvolume is the timber production forest and the minimum one is the economic forest. About unit subplot area ofstand volume, the water conservation forest, timber production forest and natural protective estates are thethree biggest when the two smallest are bamboo forest and economic forest. Based on the analysis of subplotarea and stand volume, the overall development of forest asset of Shuikou Town is good and on the rise nearlyfive years, and we should the road of sustainable development to vigorously protect, nurture and rationalutilization of forest resources.Using multiple regression analysis and Path analysis to analyze the impact factors of stand volume inShuikou town, the result showed that the influences to the stand volume among effective factors are different.According to correlation coefficient, the average diameter at breast height, canopy density has extremelysignificantly positive correlation to the accumulation of forest stand, the average age of forest accumulationhas significantly positive correlation to it and the slope has negatively correlation to the stand volume.Through Path analysis, each factor and got the decision coefficient, found that the grades of influence by effectfactors are (from high to low): canopy density, the average age, average DBH, slope, site quality. The researchresult has the reality guiding sense for the forest resources management of Shuikou town. In the actualproducing process should consider not only the direct effects of each factor on the stand volume,but also takeinto account the indirect interaction between the factor effects on stand volume. Through qualitative andquantitative analysis, grasp the relative importance of factors, to formulate a reasonable business policy, thenrealize the sustainable development of forest resources.
