Forest resource survey and monitoring is an important means to support the management of forest resources, can timely and accurately provide accurate information for the forest resources and ecological conditions of resource management, and the final analysis, evaluation results, can effectively enhance the scientific nature, macro and micro management predictability and effectiveness. Two types of forest resources survey is a survey and the most important technology in forest resource survey, provides an important scientific basis for the scientific management and the management of forest resources. This year is the survey period of two kind of forest resources in Hunan Province,"two survey of forest resources in the12th Five Year Plan" introduced in the high resolution remote sensing technique, in order to better play the role of remote sensing technology in the two survey, carried out the research work of this thesis, the main research results are as follows:(1) Through the comparison of the accuracy and the price compared to the CBERS, TM, HYPERION, SPOT5, QUICKBIRD, WORLDVIEW6kinds of remote sensing processing source, select the SPOT5data precision, the price is relatively ideal economic as the main data source, using ENVI4.8remote sensing image processing software, in Huangfengqiao forest farm as the study area, carried out a series of remote sensing image processing, software of remote sensing image optimization process, the remote sensing image interpretation and field validation study.(2) Remote sensing image processing consists of remote sensing image preprocessing, the optimal band selection, remote sensing image fusion, remote sensing image enhancement in four steps. Pretreatment of remote sensing image:Based on topographic map preprocessing of remote sensing image, geometric processing, image registration work. The optimal band selection:spectral analysis and spectral characteristics of SPOT5image by various bands, determine the SPOTS image to extract two Huangfengqiao forest farm, forest resource investigation required information, select the bands (3,4,2) was the best combination. The remote sensing image fusion:by combining the panchromatic image and multi spectral image correction is good, have greatly improved than before fusion. The remote sensing image enhancement:This study uses linear stretching method, more prominent spectral contrast between different kinds of remote sensing image, improve land borderline between definition function, beneficial to extract land patch boundary information, the interpretation precision of map spot area. (3) For the remote sensing image processing results are verified, the research of remote sensing image interpretation and field verification. Through the establishment of Huangfengqiao Forest Farm interpretation symbol table is read379class. In the interpretation of results in a random sample of53small, compared with the field investigation results, the correct rate to meet the technical requirement, reach90.57%.(4) Through this study, to obtain a set of colors, color is rich, the main types, species differences for interpretation, two class survey of forest resources in Hunan province and its processing of remote sensing image. The remote sensing image processing flow mapping technique is applied to two kinds of forest resources survey of forest resources, changes the manual annotation traditional investigation method, reduce the work intensity, improve efficiency, ensure the quality, fully demonstrated the feasibility of remote sensing technique in the investigation of application of two types of forest resources. With the improvement and application of remote sensing technology, play a role can not be underestimated two kinds of investigation in the future will be in the forest resources.
