The exPeriment was conducted to investigate the effects of ADF levels on growth,Metabolism, Cellulase activity, activity of small intestine digestive enzyme, fur quality, theinterior environment and microecology of caecum on Rex Rabbits. The total test was dividedinto two stages: from weaning to3-month old and from3to5month old. The feeding dietscontaining ADF15%、17%、19%、21%、23%, resPectively. ExcePt the ADF, other nutrientcomPositions in the five diets were identical.(1)Two hundred weaned Rex Rabbit(similar BW) were randomly divided into5treatments (40rePlicates Per treatment,1rabbit Per rePlicate). The trial lasted for7days foradaPtation, and53days for test, resPectively. The results showed that: the level of dietaryADF significant affected the feed intake(ADI)and feed gain ratio (F/G)(P<0.05); the level ofdietary ADF levels significantly increased the nitrogen intake(IN)(P<0.01), Fecal nitrogen(FN)was also affected by ADF levels(P<0.05) and the aPParent digestibility(DN/IN)'nitrogen utilization(RN/IN)reached to the maximum in19%grouP; the level of dietary ADFsignificantly affected NH3-N concentration and butyrate acid concentration (P<0.01); Theactivity of xylanase and salicin were significantly increased as the level of ADF increase(P<0.01). In conclusion, the suitable ADF levels was19%for the Rex Rabbits from Weaningto3-month-old.(2)One hundred eighty3–month-old Rex rabbits (similar BW) were randomly dividedinto5treatment (36rePlicates Per treatment,1rabbits Per rePlicate). The trial last7days foradaPtation, and53days for test resPectively. The dietary ADF levels affected the averagedaily gain(ADG), but have no influence on feed/gain and daily feed intake(ADI). Theurinary nitrogen(UN) was significantly affected by dietary ADF levels(P<0.01), and it alsoaffected the DN/IN and RN/IN, but have no influence on the nitrogen intake、urine nitrogen、digestible nitrogen\retention nitrogen and RN/IN(P>0.05. The dietary ADF levels hadinfluence on the weight of stomach、caecum、the relative weights of stomach and caecum.ChymotryPsin acitivity was significantly affected by the levels of the ADF, but it has oninfluence on the TryPsin activity. The PH in caecum and the concentration of NH3-N wasaffected by the level of ADF,and have no influence on the ratio of acetic acid, ProPionic acidand butyric acid. The weight and the area of hides was influenced by the levels of ADF. Theactivity of cellulase was significantly influence by the ADF level, In conclusion, theaPProPriate ADF concentration in the diet of3to5month old growing rex rabbit is17%~ 19%.
