With the development of scientific and technological and the pressure caused by populationgrowth, people neglect the agricultural environment protection, only pursuing the high-yield ofcrops. Excessive application of chemical fertilizers and other agricultural materials, result in adecline in the quality of food, non-renewable energy depletion, agro-ecological damage to theenvironment, such as a series of questions. Environmental protection, food security, sustainabledevelop become a growing concern of the people. The development of pollution-free, green, organic agriculture is an effective means to protect agricultural ecological environment, solve foodsafety issues, and improve the international competitiveness of agricultural products. This paperaims to assess the soil suitability of the main producing areas of Ma yam in Hebei province, divided into soil pollution-free, green, organic farming areas. On this basis, analysis soilconfiguration of the study area, taking into account the natural conditions of the local hemp yamgrowing areas proposed planting technical specifications. So as to provide basis for future selectionand layout planning of organic hemp yam and other organic origin. The main conclusions are asfollows:1、The heavy metals average concentration of cadmium, chromium, mercury, lead in surfacesoil is slightly higher than the background values of Hebei Province, except arsenic. Cadmium, arsenic two elements of the coefficient of variation were17.7%and19.2%, respectively, belong tothe moderate variation; Chromium, lead of two elements, the coefficient of variation were10.5%and11.3%, belongs to a small degree of variation. The element of mercury coefficient of variationis49.8%, belong to the large variation.2、In addition to chromium, five heavy metal elements in the soil of the study area are in thesame trend, showing a northwest high--southeast low distribution trends in the study area. HeavyMetals Distribution in study area correlates with the variety of water system distribution there. Dueto water erosion, heavy metal content in river distribution area is generally low. During to sedimentaccumulation, the heavy metals in a high levels within the range of500-1000meters away from thebanks of the river.3、Organic food in most parts of the study area can be planted. Cadmium, chromium islimiting factor for organic farming whether the study area can be. Cadmium exceeded the region’slargest, but more dispersed. The cadmium exceeded area is the largest, but more dispersed. The chromium exceeded area is concentration; in the study area there is no mercury, arsenic, lead threeheavy metals in pollution.4、Soil organic matter content is low in the study area; the total nitrogen content belongs to themiddle and upper levels; total phosphorus is rich; the total potassium content is in a high level. Thestudy area soil pH value is an average of8.22, weakly alkaline. The soil nutrients fertility is low.5、By data collection, field research and Sampling, determine the effects of hemp yam qualitysoil characteristics trace elements: manganese, zinc, chlorine. A comprehensive analysis about thethree trace elements spatial distribution of the study area is made by Kriging interpolation method.6、Ma yam cultivation is impact by soil texture. Sand loamy soil conducive to Ma yam growth.Planting soil, light, water, and other natural conditions will affect the quality of the hemp yam.Conducting organic hemp yam cultivation process should be read in conjunction with the localnatural conditions, and to transform the use of science and technology on the environment which isnot conducive to Ma yam growth.7、Superimposing maps, divided into the the organic hemp yam soil suitable areas. Throughingstatistics, the planning area of organic hemp yam suitable for planting area is336.6km2, accountingfor30%of the total area of the study area. Suitable for the development of areas are mainly locatedon both sides of the Zhulong.
