The studies were carried out in jiangxi province during2010-2011, using Nanjing44、 Wu24、Yongyou8and Yongyou9as materials, design five density treatments, study of different densities on double season japonica rice yield and its components, as well as the quality of rice population impact on rice quality. The main results are as follows:1、In the experimental density range, double-cropping late rice yield and density showed a quadratic relationship between the yield as the density increased first and then decreased. In conventional rice planting density of1200,000per hectare yield was the highest level (8535.76kg/hm2), while hybrid rice planting density of900,000per hectare yield was the highest level (9488.61kg/hm2), and density were associated with other treatments a significant difference. As the density increases, the increase in per acre ears, reduce the number of grains per panicle, group spikelets first increased and then decreased, seed setting rate decreased, no significant variation of grain weight, grain weight yield components, in addition to significant differences between treatments outside.Also at the same density conditions, hybrid rice yield than conventional rice yield.2、In the experimental density range, double-cropping late rice tillers number in each growth stage as the density increases, but the final spike rate decreased with the increase of the density, and the four varieties are in the density of600,000per hectare level of the highest rates of tillers: Nanjing44was76.49%, Wu24was86.58%,67.59%Yongyou8, Yongyou9is70.91%. Under the same density at each growth stage canopy photosynthetic potential of hybrid rice were higher than conventional rice, the differences were significant. 3、In the experimental density range, grain quality changes with the density of each index showing a certain regularity. As the density increases, brown rice rate, milled rice rate, milled rice rate and declining processed qualitative inferiority, milled rice rate which greatly affected. Density greater impact on appearance quality of rice, chalky grain rate and chalkiness as the density increases, the appearance of a regular quality deteriorates. As the density increases, the protein content decreased, reduced amylose content. Rice processing of different densities RVA Profile property values differs. Mainly as with the density increases, the peak viscosity, hot viscosity, breakdown, final viscosity and pasting temperature characteristic value increases first and then decreases, setback and peak time increased with increasing density of the upward trend.
