Wheat is one food of the three major grain storage in our country. Hidden insect, especially its larval stage, have serious hazard on wheat, which can bring huge economic losses to our state without timely preventing and curing. And it also will be a threat to our food security. The early detection and forcast of hidden insect has been paid more attention in correlational studies now. However, the existing biochemistry methods and physical detection methods all have limitations. Biological delayed luminescence induced by light is one of the ultra weak luminescence, and is in all livings beings. The research based on the delayed luminescence is sensitive and nondestructive. As detection method of hidden insect, it has definite academic significance and practical value. In the thesis, we use the biological ultra weak luminescence detection system to detect the delayed luminescence of wheat kernels. Select different function to fit the data obtained the detection by curve fitting technology. It is found that the double exponential function can fit the delayed luminescence data better. Analysis the influence of various light sources induced to the delayed luminescence of wheat kernels through comparison experiment. The results showed that the environmental temperature, light source, illumination time have significant influence on the delayed luminescence and the dalayed luminescence change with the conditions change. Then study the best measuring conditions through the orthogonal experiment. It is found that there are differences in the fitting coefficient, fitting feature value of the delayed luminescence of normal wheat and wheat which include hidden insect. These differences of wheat kernels delayed illumination provide a basis for recognize whether the wheat include hidden insect and lay an experimental base for the study in modeling to detect the hidden insect of wheat based on the biophoton analytical technology.
