The application of grafting can effectively avoid soil disease happening, enhance the growth of grafted plant, and improving the resistance. It can also increase the yield output. This study used by the mini cucumber, researched the influence of different rootstock and rootstock cotyledon clipping area to the growth of mini cucumber on the grafting affinity, survival rate, seedling growth and fruits quality.The results of different rootstock grafted mini cucumber showed that:1. Rootstock of the Black seed pumpkin treatment had the highest survival rates, followed by the White seed pumpkin. The strongest growing seedling is the White seed pumpkin treatment, followed by Boqiang4.2. Grafted seedlings robust compared with the self-rooted are much stronger.3. Grafting can advance mini-cucumber’s growth period, Boqiang4has strongest growing potential, its photosynthetic performance is strongest.4. Fruit of the White seed pumpkin rootstock treatment has the highest quality evaluation, self-rooted inferior than grafted seedling.5. Boqiang4have a good resistance to powdery mildew.6. Early yield of grafted seedling is higher than the self-rooted.Boqiang4made the highest yield, followed by the White seed pumpkin.The results of different rootstock cotyledons clipping area for grafted mini cucumber showed that:1. Different rootstock cotyledon clipping area was no significant difference in survival rate. In seedling stage clipping1/2area treatment has strongest growing rate, followed by no clipping treatment.2. Clipping the leaf can regulate the growth of underground and aboveground.3. Different clipping treatment had no significant effect on the growth period of mini cucumber, growing potential and photosynthesis were almost identical between the leaf-clipping treatment, but with no clipping treatment had growth rate difference.4. Optimum fruit quality and taste is the treatment of clipping1/2, but the overall difference is negligible.5. Clipping cotyledons will affect the ratio of yield in different period, no significant difference in the total production of different clipping area treatment.
