As the global population increase, the development and protection of cultivated landresources have attached high attention by the governments all over the world. Saline soil is animportant land resources. For many years, rational development and utilization of improvedsaline soil has being an important research topic in soil field. In this paper, the study area islocated at Kenli county in the Yellow River. The contents of the research are focus on the soilsalinity, soil salinity matter and the response between the crop and the soil salt. Study thedynamic changes of the soil salinity status and phase characteristics. By this study, I hope itcan provide reasonable reference for agricultural production on saline soil.Using the electromagnetic induction EM38can directly obtain the data of apparent soilelectrical conductivity. Refold the statistical methods and GIS techniques, measure the soilsalt, oragnic matter, and apparent conductivity properties in KenLi county. Through the studyin field scale and the county scale, draw the following conclusions:1. Combine the apparent conductivity with the growing characteristics of cotton in field scale, judge the characteristics of soil salinity(1) The distribution of soil salt in the spring, summer, autumn are in surface type, bottomtype and bottom type. There is stong correlation in soil apparent conductivity.(2) It has good correlation in the descriptive assignments which contain the spatialintepolation of the cotton growing characteristics and the apparent conductivity. Classify theapparent conductivity of soil salinization degree.(3) The data measured in autumn show that the soil salt in a low level overall, the cottonhad transferred the organic salt in inorganic salt to grow. The level of the soil salinty reduced.2. With the reasonable sampoing plan, anlysis the correlation between conductivity of soilwater solution (EC1:5) and the content of soil organic matter, the correlation between thecontent of soil organic matter and the soil apparent conductivity(1)The descriptive statistics show that: In KenLi county, the average content of soilorganic matter in0-20cm level is0.9952g/kg and0.6642g/kg in the level of20-40cm. Thecoefficient ofvariation are around45%, which belong to medium intessity variation. The soilfertility is low in KenLi County overall. The measurement of water solution conductivity in0-20cm is in a range of0.0801ms/cm-10.26ms/cm, the averge is1.5201ms/cm; The measurement of water solution conductivity in20-40cm is in a range of0.0855ms/cm-9.379ms/cm, the averge is1.1766ms/cm. The variation coefficient are135.74%and121.74%,which belongs to the strong intensity variation. The results show the unequal distribution ofsalt in this region.(2) There has a positive correlation between the apparent conductivity and the soil solutionconductivity EC1:5, a strong negative correlation between the O.M and the EMh in0-20soillayer, a stong negtive correlation between the content of O.M in0-20cm layer and the soilsolution in0-20cm soil layer. The higher the content of the soil salt, the lower the content ofthe soi organic matter.(3) Through the regression analysis of the electric conductivity in soil solution and soilapparent conductivity, it is concluded that in0~20cm depth regression equation of thecorrelation coefficient are greater than20-40cm any kind of linear regression equation of thecorrelation coefficient in0~20cm soil layer and20to40layers.The logarithm regressionequation is the most accurate method, the multiple regression equation of the corrlationcoefficient(R) are0.818and0.739; The regression analysis on the soil organic matter and soilsolution conductivity and soil apparent conductivity show that the organic matter content andsoil salt relevance is very small.(4)For the special laocation and laws in the HuangHeKou town, the content of the soil saltand the organic matter is the highest in KenLi County. The content of organic in0-20cmlayer is lower than in20-40cm layer in KenLi county. Compare the content of the soil saltand the organic matter among all the towns, XiSong Xiang with a lowest content of soil salt.ShengTuo town and DongJi Xiang with a lower conten of soil salt, but the soil organic mattercontent is low. HaoJia town and YongAn town with a higher content of soil salt, in contrastthe content of organic matter is low.3.Suggestions for the sustainable use of land in KenLi county(1) Increase the support by change policy to increase farmers’ enthusiasm on production;(2) Take advantage of superior resources, develop the forestry, animal, husbandryfishery, etc, to constructe a diversified ecological agriculture;(3) Improve the awareness of water saving, improve the irrigation and drainage facilities.Optimize the industrial structure, improve the productivity of the land.
